Policy
Benz Microscope Optics Center, Inc. Maintains a firm commitment to securing your privacy at all cost. All information transferred over internet lines is sent through Veri-Sign on a encrypted server for maximum security. We also welcome direct ordering through the phone lines to one of our many operators.
We at no time share personal information with any one. The information sent to our suppliers is the minimum amount necessary to make sure the items are properly shipped.
Design Modifications
Benz microscope Optics Center, inc. strives to maintain an up to date and current website to assure that you are getting the latest products at the best pricing. Manufactures however have the right to make design changes and modifications due to improvements or technological advancements without notice. If this does take place we will notify you in advance of these changes to insure that you are happy with your purchase.
Transportation
Shipment of orders is made by UPS, USPS and DHL whenever possible unless:
- The shipment contains material prohibited by the department of transportation regulations.
- Another mode of transportation is requested by the customer.
DHL, UPS and USPS serves the Continental United States by surface routes. Alaska and Hawaii are served on a limited area basis by Air Service. The rates quoted are for ground unless otherwise specified by customer, except for Alaska and Hawaii which would be Air Shipments.
Missing Items from Shipping
Items received should be checked against the packing slip. Any missing items should be reported within 10 days of receipt of order.
Damages
Please examine order upon receipt. If damage is discovered retain all packing material and notify the motor carrier so they may arrange for an inspection of the damaged goods. Also, please notify our office so that we may follow-up with whatever adjustments are needed.
Return policy.
Benz Microscope Optics Center, Inc. has a 30 day return policy. If you are not satisfied with your purchase you have 30 days to return it. You must first call and get authorization from one of our operators. Once the product is returned in its original packing, and arrives in the original condition that it was shipped out in we will then issue a credit to your account, LESS THE ORIGINAL COST OF SHIPPING AND INSURANCE. Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the product back to us. We do recommend insuring it. We will not be held responsible if the item is damaged in transit and was not insured through the shipping company, no exceptions. Certain items such as used microscope parts, new and used lenses, and bulbs are not returnable. Please be sure you are ordering the right product for the right microscope.
All other items with be held to a 25% restocking fee. Special orders are not returnable
Ordering methods
Online- Our website is through Pay Pal (Veri-sign ) and is a very secure encrypted server, we accept Visa and M/C, US billing address only, no international orders please. We also accept American Express but these orders must be phoned in at this time.
Quote Form- If you are interested in larger quantities of a specific item choose the quote button instead of the purchase button and we will fax or email you a quote for the quantity you are requesting.
Bids- Benz welcomes the opportunity to prepare bids. Please send us a listing of items you wish to have bid and our bid department will send back the proper paper work.
Phone- you may reach us Monday thru Friday 9-5pm Eastern standard time to place orders. Our toll free number is 1-888-365-6065. You can call after hours and leave a message. Make sure you leave a phone number so we may return your call.
Fax- you can always fax your orders any time at 734-994-9090
Purchase Orders- We accept purchase orders from established business we have in our system. If you are not yet set up we would require proper credit and banking references. Educational institution do not need to send banking information. Our terms for payment is NET 30 days, late payments are subject to 1 ½% service charge per month after 30 days.
Mail-You are welcome to send orders through the mail. Personal orders must be accompanied with check or money order for the amount of the purchase plus shipping charges. All checks must clear the bank before any items are shipped, no exceptions.
International Orders- We do not accept any international orders at this time.
Minimum orders- $25.00 minimum order for all personal orders
