| P20116 : P20116 - Archimedes Principal Apparatus (Large) |
| This new model has a much larger capacity (100ml) than the traditional aluminum model (22ml) for higher accuracy and easier operation. In addition, both the cylinder and the cup have marked divisions which allow the students to repeat the experiment with different volumes. Made of white nylon. This unit is used with a 200g spring scale, an overflow can and a beaker. Comes with an activity manual. |

| P303 : P303 - Convection of Gas Apparatus |
| This is an excellent product for studying the movement of currents in the air. The box has a glass front and two clear acrylic chimneys. A lit candle is placed inside the box under one of the chimneys. Smoke is introduced in the other chimney and observed traveling down into the box and back out through the opposite chimney. Instructions, candle and smoke paper are provided. |

| P022 : P022 - Elasticity of Gases |
| This low cost apparatus is ideal for gathering data in support of Boyle?s Law. A Series of uniform masses (such as textbooks) added to the top platform and the corresponding volume is read on the way down and again on the way up to give useful average values. Students then plot pressure versus the reciprocal of the volume in search of a straight line. Consists of a calibrated syringe imbedded in a wood block for stability. |

| P181 : P181 - Hero?s Engine |
| Consists of a flask, two opposing nozzles and a suspension chain. A small quantity of water, when heated, will cause steam jets from the nozzles making the vessel rotate. This is an example of Newton?s Third Law of action and reaction. |

| P203 : P203 - Archimedes's Principle |
| This all metal unit demonstrates the principles of buoyancy and displacement. The cylinder fits into the cup exactly. The whole unit can be hung from a spring scale and weighed. This unit can then be lowered into a container of water and the reduction weight noted. Experiments prove that the weight loss equals the weight of the water displaced. Instructions included. |

| P333 : P333 - Dew Point Apparatus |
| This is the quick and easy way to determine the dew point of the surrounding air. Pour alcohol into the nickel plated cup. Seal the cup with the rubber stopper that contains a thermometer, rubber bulb, inlet glass tube. Pumping the bulb forces air through the alcohol, lowering the temperature of the cup. When condensation appears on the cup, note the thermometer reading. Use this information to determine the dew point. Instruction sheet provided. |

| P398 : P398 - Ball and Ring Apparatus |
| Demonstrates expansion of metal with heat and its contraction when cooled. When the ball is heated, it will not pass through the ring, but when both are the same temperature, the ball passes through the ring freely. Brass ball and ring is mounted on a steel rod set into a wooden handle. |

| P311 : P311 - Heat Conductometer |
| Metals vary in thermal conductivity and this can be seen with the hand held conductometer. Five rods, aluminum, copper, steel, silver nickel, and brass are spokes from a center hub that is connected to a wooden handle. A small bead of wax is placed in a dimple in the end of each spoke. The center hub is heated and the students watch as the wax falls from each spoke in the order of conductivity. Instruction sheet and white wax provided. |
