Standard Premier 4-Part Skull is a plain white medical quality replica that incorporates all the Premier features. Cast from a select, natural bone specimen for unparalleled realism. Features individual teeth with complete roots,each in its own socket, not just a set of fused dentures like other synthetic skulls. An exclusive hinged flap in the right mandible swings open to expose the roots of the two premolars and first two molars in their sockets, plus an impacted molar (wisdom tooth). These five teeth are permanently anchored. All the remaining teeth in the lower jaw are secured in their sockets with a permanently-flexible cement which allows you to extract teeth individually for thorough examination and then reinsert them! Detachable springs permit natural articulation of the mandible as well as removal of the jaw. The sectioned calvaria detaches to access the nuerocranium. The detachable auricle exposes its cartilaginous structure, muscles, auricular arteries and nerves, and the entrance to the auditory canal. Sections if the petrous and mastoid portions of the temporal bone can be lifted off to expose the middle and inner ear chambers. Middle ear components, including tympanic membrane and oasis, can be lifted out. The extractable labyrinth is dissectible into three portions.
