| With this slip-on attachment, you can convert your MicroSlide® Viewer into a handy low power microscope for examination of solid objects. Specimens are placed on the white reflector of the Microslide® Viewer. Focusing is performed in the same manner as with the Microslide® Viewer used by itself. Objects up to 3/4 inch thick can be brought into sharp focus. Made of impact resistant styrene, the Macro Lens™ is completely washable, and measures only 4 7/8” long. Approx shipping weight 1 lb. |

| Z560 : Z560 Micromounts |
|
| A unique way for students to mount, view and present their own specimens for study. The student peels off the protective tape, places the specimen (leaf, insect wing, drop of pond water etc.) on the mount and folds it onto itself. The micromount may be viewed with the Microslide Viewer (it fits in the slide slot if the object is too thick to transmit light, the specimen may still be viewed using the macro lens with the viewer). Each micromount measures 1 9/16” x 3 7/8” when folded and contains space for recording information about the specimen. Recommended for elementary and junior high school. Micromounts come in packages of 50. Each package is provided with an instruction sheet containing hints for successful viewing. Approx shipping weight 1 lb. |
