EMF Fixed Stereo Body
The EMF is a simple fixed stereo microscope body that delivers crisp, erect images. The EMF features Greenough optics for enhanced image flatness and contrast. The result is clearer and distinctive images throughout the filed of view. A long working distance and a wide field of view makes the EMF a perfect fixed microscopes that provides excellent maneuverability proving optimum for applications that don't require magnification power changes. Such as fine dissection work, sorting field samples, horology, dental labs and assembly and inspection of semiconductor devices.
EMT Turret Stereo Body
The body is the heart of our modular stereo microscope design. It contains the objectives and prisms that capture the image of the specimen, magnify it, and direct it to the eyetubes. The body, by itself, cannot be used to view an object; it also needs eyepieces that further magnify the image and allow the viewer to see, and it must be mounted on a stand that has a focus mechanism for raising and lowering the body.
With the modular configuration, additional items are needed to create a full microscope system. The following components are normally ordered:
- Stereo Microscope Body: Zoom (EMZ), Turret (EMT), or Fixed (EMF)
- Eyepieces: Requires 2 of identical magnification
- Stand: Pole stand, rigid arm stand, boom stand, heavy duty boom stand, wide surface stand or articulated arm stand
- Illumination Source: Fiber optic halogen, fiber optic LED, fluorescent ring or LED
- Auxiliary Lens: Optional
