Steel Triangular Hand Files for Laboratory Use, Set of 3 (L18012)
Set of 3 steel files: 4", 5" and 6". Three tapered sides have double cut rows of teeth on each side forming a diamond shaped pattern for fast cutting. Triangular files are typically used in the laboratory to score glass tubing before cutting, then smoothing the edges before use. May also be used to sharpen the teeth of gears or to smooth various surfaces. The tapered shank may be used with certain adjustable handles for ease of use.
