ABO/Rh Interactions Simulated Blood Typing Activity Kit (USA#BZ6551)
The earliest historical attempts at blood transfusions often had lethal results. These results led to the investigation and discovery of blood types, as well as a deeper understanding of the importance of antigen/antibody interactions. In this investigation, students will utilize new simulated blood to determine the ABO/Rh blood type of four individuals, one in need of a transfusion. Based on the results, students will then determine which of three potential donors would provide the best match for the patient in need. Our kit includes - not just 3 - but 4 Simulated Blood Types: A+, B-, AB+ and O-, 3 Simulated Anti-Sera: Anti-A, Anti-B and Anti-RH, 12 Blood Typing Trays, Safety Data Sheets, and Instructions. (Kit contains chemicals that may be hazardous. Please read all labels and SDS carefully before performing experiments. For laboratory use only. Keep out of reach of children. DOT non-regulated. Made in America.

Questions & AnswersAsk a Question
Does the simulated anti-A serum, simulated anti-B serum, simulated anti-Rh serum have similar responses to actual blood samples?
Thank you for visiting benzmicroscope.com! The simulated anti-sera and simulated blood in this kit are meant to demonstrate the effects of human blood type interactions and the result of a transfusion with a non-compatable blood type. It is not intended to determine blood type of real human blood.
