The plastic pan tray, lid, and cutting Pad are all reusable, or easily disposable, after use. It won't rust like metal pans, there is no sticky wax to melt, and it's light weight. Use the cover to protect your work (and the atmopshere) at the end of the day. The small size measures  10"L x 7"W, perfect for small specimens such as earthworms, small frogs, clams, or grasshoppers. (Specimens not included.) SKU BZDS-Set. The included forceps, scissors and T-pins are made of steel for durability, while the scalpel and dissecting needles have plastic handles, and may reused or disposed of when finished. Use the dropper to apply small amounts of liquids for hydration or relaxing tissues. The magnifying glass is essential for close-up views of structures; and for even more educational opportunities, use the petri dishes to transport items to the stereo (dissecting) microscope for further observation. Taking accurate measurements is easy with the translucent ruler, and students will feel more comfortable getting up close to the specimens when wearing vinyl gloves and protective safey glasses.
