Objective Lens Case, Plastic RMS Threaded. Plastic storage cases for microscope objective lenses. Each cap is specially threaded to accommodate RMS (Royal Microscope Society) standard objectives. (Exterior grip threads on cap may differ.) SKU OB04IMP.

"IMP" variants are imperfect objective bottles that have been used to ship objectives to the U.S., but have not entered the consumer market. They are clean and proven to hold RMS objectives effectively. Most have exterior scratches or scrapes from bulk transport, however they are fully functional and in very good condition without cracks or chips. They remain very effective to protect and store your objectives, at half the price.


We opened a carton that appears never to have been used, but bears a slight manufacturing defect. The bottoms of the bases are finished off unevenly. The caps and threads function perfectly, and will hold objectivecs as intended, but they wont't rest squarely on a flat surface. Though they wobble a bit, but they don't tip over. We will limit these slanted bottles to packs of 20 for only $30 (regularly $40 for imperfect cases), while supplies last. 

For New objectives bottles, use the variant OB04.

This is a great opportunity for you to enjoy a discounted price, as well as knowing that you're doing your part to recycle and reuse, keeping these plastics out of a landfill.

keeps objectives safe

Our lab has had tons of objectives just kinda lying around and i was getting worried about them. Now all of the nice ones are safe in lens cases. problem solved

Perfection.

What more could you possibly want? You screw the objectives into the cap and screw the jar closed. Perfect product. I have a Celestron 44108 professional microscope and the objectives have standard threads like all others I have used.

We're sorry you're not happy with the Objective Lens Cases you ordered. The dimensions are clearly stated in the description and classified for RMS objectives. The mounting threads on almost all objectives are sized to standards of the Royal Microscopical Society (RMS) for universal compatibility. However, you may have M25 (metric 25-millimeter objective thread), or M32 (metric 32-millimeter objective thread) objectives, which clearly wouldn't fit. As for quality, we state that the cases are made with durable plastic to protect the objectives from dust. Plastic cases are what we delivered.

You're welcome to return the cases for a full refund. We worked with you to expedite your order so that you would receive it by a certain date, Simply email or call to request a return.

They fit in my hardshell case very nicely. The plastic feels durable and theyou very snugly ...

Everyone who didn't give them 5 stars don't know how to measure things properly and probably shouldn't be using a microscope. These are very high quality and VERY well made. They fit in my hardshell case very nicely. The plastic feels durable and theyou very snugly screw into place. I also recieved the recipt with "thank you" written really beautifully in ballpoint pen. If I ever need more I know where to go! :)
