Questions & Answers

Ask a Question
  • Hello, We are a lab located at the University of Michigan. I would like to inquire if you do preventative maintenance checks on scopes and if you travel to the location of the scope or would we need to bring it up to you guys? The model is an Olympus BX61. Please give me a quote.

Thank you for your inquiry! We service many labs at the University of Michigan. Your location and the ability to reach the lab, due to ongoing construstion, will determine if we are able to pick up the instrument or if you will need to bring it to us. We generally do not perform service on-site, as we repair and clean the microscope from the inside out. We suggest you email us at info@benzmicroscope.com with your lab location, the microscope model, and the best way to contact you. We look forward to hearing from you!

  • Do you work on Gem microscopes? I have an older GIA Gemolite that needs the optics cleaned. Is this something you do?

Thank you for contacting us. Yes, we are familiar with GIA instruments. The best way to get started would be to call or email directly, so we can find out exactly what you're experiencing. (info@benzmicroscope.com or 734-994-3880) With more information we can provide an estimate, and make arrangements for you to get the instrument to us.
