PYREX 250ML Erlenmeyer FLASK, VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION (#4980)

Authentic, vintage Pyrex, heavy wall Erlenmyer flask. Stamped with "250 ml, PYREX®, USA", a white marking spot, and "No.4980". Very good condition with no chips on the neck, no major scratching, and no writing or markings. Glass is clear.

Erlenmeyer flasks are are similar to beakers, however, the sides taper in gradually and form a narrow vertical neck at the top. Typically used when chemicals need to be heated, as the tapered sides keep retain some heat that may otherwise escape by evaporation. These flasks feature 25ml graduations, numbered from 50 to 200ml (+/- 5%). 

This glassware is from a school that liquidated before moving locations. We cannot confirm if they are new but old stock, or used in very good condition, but packaging indicates that they have never been taken out of the original box.
