Will not break, and are safer than glass, making them ideal for young students, field work, wet mounts, and mobile veterinary applications. Reusable or disposable. Made in the USA. I am looking for plastic slides that are 1mm thick and resistant to xylene. Does this product (PLASTIC MICROSCOPE SLIDES, 1" X 3", BOX OF 144 (#2300) BMOC) have those characteristics? Thank you for your help.
Regular glass slides are about 1mm thick, and our plastic slides are much thinner than that. Depending on brand, they are usually made of polystyrene or vinyl, so xylene may cause the slides to warp. Thank you for visiting benzmicroscope.com!
