Laboatory Triangular Hand Files. Set of 3. Steel triangular files for laboratory use. Three tapered sides have double cut rows of teeth on each side forming a diamond shaped pattern for fast cutting. One of each length, with a tapered shank to be used with certain adjustable handles for ease of use.. These are typically used in the laboratory to score glass tubing before cutting, and then smoothing the edges before use. May also be used to sharpen the teeth of gears or to smooth various surfaces.  SKU L18012.
